1. Goats Arrive in Shorab

2. A shepherd takes care of the goats, including administering vaccines, while the women learn the basics of milking and caring for their goats.

3. Village families  also learn to process the milk at a central location with equipment you provided.

4. Soon these families will be proficient and able to provide better nutrition and revenue for themselves.

And again, the magic is that when the goats reproduce, the first offspring will be given to other families.
Those sustainable goats just keep giving and giving and giving…

5. We are so proud of our partners at the Shindand Women Social Foundation

and the great work they are doing -  for the Karadah Project and others who help the people of Shindand District. Their work is selfless and courageous. We are honored to call them friends. We are making a difference in the lives of families in small villages in western Afghanistan.
